Robin van Persie: World Cup superhero, Internet superstar.

The Dutch striker scored the most impressive goal of the tournament (so far) with a diving header against Spain on June 13. The dazzling noggin-first shot helped the Netherlands secure a 5-1 win and a place for van Persie in Internet Photoshop history.

The moment was immortalized over the weekend, with images of van Persie inserted into space, Disney movies and backyard lawn furniture.

Brands got in on the game, too.

Even if the Netherlands don't win the whole shebang, van Persie's Internet legacy will live on -- until a more amazing goal is scored, at least.
