Vanessa Hudgens shut it down during Grease: Live.

The actress, who plays Rizzo in the Fox production, crushed her solo performance of "There Are Worse Things I Could Do," inspiring online applause from viewers on social media for her soaring voice. What's even more chilling is that the actress is performing just one day after announcing the death of her father, who was battling cancer.

The show was ultimately dedicated to him.

Of course, because this is Twitter, people also couldn't resist making a few High School Musical references, drawing similarities to the Disney musical franchise Hudgens starred in.
