Car chases are so last week. Thursday, Twitter rubberneckers found themselves transfixed by two chimps on the run in Las Vegas.
A live video stream from KLAS-TV broadcasted the chase to the masses. In the end, one chimpanzee was tranquilzed and contained. Vegas police shot and killed the other escaped primate.
Officials urged residents to stay in their cars and homes. Currently, it’s not clear where the chimpanzees came from.
