Veoh, the internet television network, has appointed Steve Mitgang as its new CEO.
Mitgang is coming from Yahoo, where he was Senior Vice President of the Global Team, and was heavily involved with advertising, platforms and services. Succeeding Veoh's founding CEO Dmitry Shapiro, Mitgang will oversee Veoh's continued growth. Shapiro is now the Founder and Chief Innovation Officer, focusing his energies on the company's technology platforms. In addition, Veoh has also appointed Jennifer Betka, formerly at Sirius Satellite Radio, involved with business development and Internet marketing strategies, as the Senior Vice President of Marketing.
