Verizon is holding a new project called "My Home 2.0" which gives one lucky family a complete home technology makeover. This is offered through Verizon FiOS, the company's fiber optic network for your television. All home makeovers are being filmed for an online show, which is being shown on the My Home 2.0 website as well as local network channels. It's also being distributed through YouTube.
Once the transformation is complete, the upgraded home is celebrated with a block party. The first block party for a home makeover had quite a guest list, which included James Earl Jones. The second home reveal will be this weekend in Philadelphia. And if you live in the Pittsburgh area, "My Home 2.0" is taking applications.
