British luxury handset designer Vertu has launched the new Vertu Ti, an Android smartphone with a price tag of €7,900 or $10,569.
The 3.7-inch smartphone doesn't impress when it comes to the regular list of specifications: a dual-core, 1.7 GHz SnapDragon S4 CPU, Android 4.0, 1GB of RAM, 64GB of storage memory and an 8-megapixel camera.
It does, however, shine when it comes to the cost of materials used -- crystal and titanium, and it's all handmade by a single craftsman in England from 184 parts.
Nokia head Anssi Vanjoki highlighted the new Vertu in a tweet, claiming that "nothing will ever feel the same". Interestingly enough, that's his first tweet since Oct. 12, 2012, when Vanjoki apologized for weird messages after his Twitter account was hijacked for half an hour.

Vertu vas previously Nokia-owned, but the company sold most of its stake to private equity group EQT VI in Oct. 2012.
