VH1 Promotes Foursquare in New Ad [VIDEO]

Bravo, The History Channel and now VH1 believe in the power of Foursquare so much so that they're broadcasting television ads to promote their presences on the platform.

VH1 is the latest cable network to hop on the Foursquare train. It has created a Foursquare spot that is set to run for the remainder of summer and into the fall season.

The "Unlock It to Rock It" promotion encourages VH1 fans to use Foursquare for access to insider tips from VH1 and celebrities on the best bands and music venues.

The commercial in question also mentions a VH1 badge that Foursquare users can unlock by checking in to music venues. Participants who unlock the badge will also be entered in a sweepstakes for a chance to win one year of unlimited shows at a Live Nation venue.
