Hotel resource site VibeAgent has just added panoramic video tours to its list of options for those seeking out details on hotels. The key aspect of this new feature is the inclusion of professionally made, high-quality videos that will be used on the VibeAgent site.
This isn't the first time that professional videos have been used for hotel resource sites. In fact, there are several sites out there, like Trivop, that focus primarily on video tours in order to provide a first-hand, virtual experience for users. And as videos become a more integral aspect of everything we do online, we've seen video tours being applied to local research and advertising, and the real estate market, to name a few.

The good thing about adding such video tours is that there are several mechanisms now in place that enable web-based services to leverage others' outsourcing networks in order to obtain and amass video content. While some search tools could in fact use this option as a way to provide additional income from participating hotels, that doesn't seem to be the case with VibeAgent, from what I can tell.
