A torrent of water washed away a car, after deadly floods hit parts of Texas and Oklahoma over the weekend.

Eyewitness videos show the surge of flood water catching the white SUV, and flipping it upside down at Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort and Spa near Boerne, Texas, on Saturday. A witness who uploaded footage of the incident said the driver was rescued from his vehicle unharmed.

The widespread flooding, caused by unprecedented rainfall on Saturday and Sunday, prompted numerous evacuations, and left one Oklahoma firefighter dead. In Central Texas, the American Red Cross have set up shelters for residents of the hundreds of homes damaged in the flooding, according to local reports.
