Back when Dabble was big news, I pointed out that a video aggregator (aka "del.icio.us for video" or "digg for video") was an utterly obvious idea. And indeed it is. Today Steve Rubel points to what will no doubt be the first of many video aggregators to make it onto my radar - VideoBomb. You know the score - people submit links to video clips and the community votes on them. From the site:

Video Bomb is a community site for people to bring together and share the best videos on the web. You can share interesting videos with a wide audience by posting, commenting and tagging videos on the site. When someone submits a video, it appears on the Incoming! page and if people like it, they can 'bomb' the video, which adds it to their favorites list. If enough people bomb a video, it will appear on the front page of the site.

If you ignore the excessively Digg-like interface and theming, Videobomb is a fairly nice experience. You'll also notice that all the videos from Revver still display their ads at the end. This is one of the reasons I love Revver's microchunked business model - wherever those videos go, Revver will still make money. Nonetheless, YouTube remains way out in front in the video space - the Alexa chart is phenomenal!
