In many countries around the world, decorating Easter eggs is an annual spring tradition. So for this week's Mashable Vine Challenge, we want you to fire up your imagination, and decorate your own.

Feel free to use real eggs or plastic ones from a craft store. You can experiment with any material from paint, glitter and googly eyes to food coloring, fruits and flowers. There are so many fun, creative and easy ways to decorate -- your options are endless.

Mashable decorated a few eggs of our own this weekend -- some using the food coloring-dye technique and others using colored Sharpies.

We gave the one in the Vine video, above, a red and yellow marbled look. To do this, we dropped some food coloring in shaving cream, swirled it around, and then rolled the egg in the plate of colors.

Share your creation by Wednesday, April 23 at 9 a.m. ET, using the hashtag #CraftyEggs. We will feature some of the most creative entries in a follow-up post.
