Vine's iOS notifications just got a little more like Twitter's.
The video-sharing app released an update Tuesday, rolling out customizable notifications, improved sharing and a revamped home screen.

"We’ve heard feedback that you want more control over notifications and which you receive, both via push notifications and in the Activity tab," Kristian Bauer, a software engineer for Vine, wrote in a blog post. "With today’s update, you can now customize notifications to your heart’s content by accessing the Notifications menu in Settings."
The new menu allows users to fine-tune the kinds of push notifications they receive, as well as the notifications they see within Vine's activity menu. Much like Twitter's notifications, Vine users can elect to see all, none or only tailored notifications for likes, comments, revines, mentions and follows.
Vine also improved navigation by unveiling a new menu bar, which sits at the bottom of the app. It helps users navigate between the home, explore, activity and profile tabs. Previously, these menus were nested within the home menu at the top left-hand corner of the app.
The update also makes it easier to take advantage of Vine's private-messaging feature. Now, every time a video is created, users have the ability to share it publicly, or as a private message directly from the share menu.
The latest version of Vine is available in Apple's App Store. Some of the changes, including customizable notifications and the new menu bar, were previously rolled out on Vine's Android app.
