This is one of the first times a mobile service provider has offered a reply-all option for text messaging, and it makes for group conversations to be more conducive within the parameters of mobile text messaging. The deal between 3jam and Virgin Mobile involves a revenue-share as well, which is good for 3jam.
I think it's good that Virgin is finding more integrated ways of providing effective means of communication that's also integrated with the standard form of mobile messaging. With mobile phones becoming more important for all media and communication exchanges, it's no wonder the mobile carriers and manufacturers are teaming up with smaller companies to offer the services that have seen steady growth for some time now.
