You're probably aware by now of the horrendous massacre at Virginia Tech today - more than 33 people killed in a gun rampage by a spurned boyfriend.

Obviously social sites - particularly Facebook and MySpace, have become meeting points for those affected. For those not in the Virginia Tech network, there are a few hundred Facebook groups you can join, many of them with thousands of members. These groups are becoming the main way for students to express their condolences.
