Video provider VMIX and Union-Tribune Publishing announced a deal today in which VMIX will power video uploads and community features for SignOnSanDiego.com’s new site, which is focused on the South San Diego area.
UTSouth San Diego is a hyperlocal site that focuses on news and sports from San Diego's South County. VMIX, of course, is adding a video community plus photo sharing, meaning that users can now post videos of local events like football games.
