We've only made brief mentions in the past of Zudeo, the downloadable BitTorrent client from Azureus that claims two million uniques/month on its site after two months of existence. Zudeo has now been renamed Vuze, and it's being promoted as a way to get premium HD-quality video content.

Azureus also announced deals on Thursday to distribute the BBC show Sorted, and the Showtime properties Weeds, Dexter and The L Word. Whether we need a "YouTube for high quality content" is debatable, but even without the download you can browse the titles and read the comments from the community to see what's on offer. I'm not convinced that it offers anything particularly unique, but perhaps existing Vuze users can try to convince me otherwise.
