10 Things About Wake Forest's Class of 2014 That Have Nothing to Do With Jill Abramson
Jill Abramson addressed students at Wake Forest University Monday.

Since being ousted as New York Times executive editor last week, Jill Abramson has been at the center of a media frenzy. Despite the hoopla, she still made it to Wake Forest University Monday to address the class of 2014.

Abramson spoke of resilience, advising students to "show what you are made of" during periods of rejection. She also confirmed that there is "not a chance" that she will remove the Times "T" she has tattooed on her back.

Abramson stressed to the university's students that "the only real news here today is your graduation from this great university" but, unsurprisingly, press coverage focused more on the former editor than on the commencement itself.

To reverse the trend, we've rounded up a collection of facts and tidbits about the Wake University class of 2014 that is entirely Jill Abramson-free.
