Take a deep breath, The Walking Dead fans.

Robert Kirkman, creator of the comic book series on which the popular AMC television show is based, produced a feature-length film titled Air that will debut next month. Set in the near future, Air stars Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead) and Guardians of the Galaxy's Djimon Hounsou, who play two engineers trying to save the world's last reserve of breathable air.

Directed by Christian Cantamessa, the film's super-intense trailer is sure to put sci-fi fans on the edge of their seats. Check it out, above.

Air will hit theaters on Aug. 14.
