This post contains spoilers from season 6 of Walking Dead. Serious spoilers.

Our hero is gone.

In a cruel act of television, fan-favorite since season 1 and ride-or-die character Glenn was killed during Sunday's Walking Dead episode "Thank You." And Twitter is rightfully ready to set the Wolves on whoever at AMC made that call.

First there was confusion. Then anger. Then sadness. Then, of course, the conspiracy theories.

But there was one thing everyone could agree on: Glenn didn't deserve this. RIP -- actually no, don't rest in peace. Come back from the dead and get your revenge on Nicholas.

Regardless of how many people tried to kill Glenn, he's never killed a living person. He deserved better. #TheWalkingDead— The Walking Dead (@TheWalkingHumor) October 26, 2015

Won't be at school tomorrow. I will still be mourning over Glenn's death #twd— Ben Paddock (@Benpaddock98) October 26, 2015

I can't... Why? Glenn's humanity is what ultimately killed him. — BayleeAuer (@bay__32) October 26, 2015
