After a photo of the new Australian rugby jersey leaked online Tuesday, all fans could do was pray it wasn't real.
Unfortunately, their greatest fears were confirmed on Wednesday when the Wallabies officially released the new shirt for the Australian team. Many fans simply threw their hands in the air, and stormed out. Others expressed their disgust on every social media platform they could find. Some cried.
"Tradition!" they wailed. "Canary yellow!" they sobbed. "Bacardi Breezer vomit!" they howled.

It was too little too late.
Fans claim the new Wallabies jersey is the wrong shade of yellow, the white stripe around the neckline is abhorrent and it would be better suited to a soccer player. The rugby team hit back on Twitter, claiming the colour is the same shade of gold as previous years.
The matching of the jersey with bright yellow shoes in the official photo even attempted to showcase the gold tones in the shirt. It didn't work.

"Thanks Asics, you've come up with the ugliest 'jersey' in Australian sport history. Bring back the GOLD you latte sipping, pony-tailed tossers," rugby fan Denis Coffey wrote on Facebook. Ouch.
It wasn't the worst of the vitriol. Australian rugby aficionados are a passionate bunch.
