This video of baby Ward Miles' first year will tug at even the most cynical heartstrings and won't let go -- just as strong as the little guy himself.

Born three and a half months early, Ward had several health obstacles to overcome. At the time of birth, he weighed less than two pounds and suffered severe bleeding in his brain. Thankfully, you wouldn't know it from the happy, healthy face you see one year later.
The moving video was made by Ward's father, photographer Benjamin Scot, who documented his child's emotional journey and gave the final project to his wife, Lyndsey, for her birthday.
