The Washington Nationals made a 2016 calendar to sell their fans. There was just one problem.

That big, beautiful cover photo greeting shoppers from store shelves? Yeah ... wrong ballpark. Wrong state. Wrong league.

The Nationals play in Washington, D.C., at Nationals Park in the National. The Boston Red Sox, meanwhile, play at legendary Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts, in the American League. Guess which park this is right here on the cover of the 2016 Washington Nationals calendar?

Hey @Nationals you might want to have a word w/Turner Licensing. This is the 2016 calendar cover pic.twitter.com/4kLHVR8wsr— susan vavrick (@edit_susan) November 8, 2015

Did you guess Fenway? You guessed right! The calendar printer, however, apparently guessed wrong. But it's not like Fenway Park is an iconic ballpark, and it's not like said iconic ballpark is easily identifiable by the massive wall in left field.

If you're scoring at home, the erroneous photo features the Red Sox and Nationals before Boston's 2015 home opener -- not Washington's. That's a full-sized version of the image featured on the cover atop this post.

“Our licensee used an incorrect photo in its 2016 Nationals calendar, a product that the Nationals were not involved in producing,” Major League Baseball told Boston.com. “We are working quickly to rectify the situation including recalling the calendars from retail.”
