A look at Thailand's epic water fight known as Songkran

Buddhist New Year celebrations have begun across Southeast Asia. In Thailand, this means its time for Songkran, a.k.a. the massive, symbolic water fight.

The event is marked by bringing out a statue of Buddha and walking it through the streets for people to wash. In Bangkok, tourists and locals soak each other in the streets in a friendly game of war.
