Move over Beyonce, Miley and Taylor -- Liam Martin is the hottest new celebrity on Instagram.
Martin, a 17-year-old from New Zealand, has taken the Internet by storm for dressing up as various celebrities and film characters, most of which are female. Under the Instagram accountwaverider_, Martin started his lookalike series almost a year ago, and has since has attracted more than 1.5 million followers.

With his newfound fame and continued fun with the project, Martin just decided to roll with it.
"It is a really awesome feeling to have so many people support what I do," Martin tells Mashable. "I have learned a lot. I have learned how to deal with criticism and a lot about myself."
Martin's cosplay game is incredibly on-point, creating elaborate costumes, wigs and props from materials he finds at the "$2 shop." He says his longest photo shoot took three hours, trying to assemble and achieve Katy Perry's "Dark House" look.
His favorite celebrities to replicate are Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande (who follows him on Instagram), he adds.
Martin has also previously spoken out on YouTube about cyberbullying, saying he has been receiving more and more negative comments on Instagram but is not letting it discourage him.
"Cyberbulling is so not cool...pointless. It's stupid and unneeded," he says in the video. "When you get hate don't take it personally at all. It's just going to give them what they want. You shouldn't let them make you feel like that."
