BARCELONA, Spain -- Though this year's CES was all about wearable tech, the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona was focused a little more on business than funky gadgetry.
Still, with Samsung launching a trio of Gear wearables, and Sony following suit with a wristband of its own, there was definitely plenty to see in way of wearable technology. In fact, with Samsung's ultra-light and waterproof Gear Fit, we might even say that we're seeing the technology mature, turning from a gimmick into something we might actually use in everyday life.
We've also seen some interesting new applications for wearables, the best example being the smart hearing aid from Denmark -- ReSound Linx.
