History was forever changed last week when photographer Martin Le-May caught a weasel riding on the back of a woodpecker.

The Internet lost it, people questioned their existence and commuting was redefined.

So, of course, there is someone attempting to commemorate said historic event with a park sign. Stephen Cross, a resident of the Hornchurch area where the image was taken, has posted a sign in the Hornchurch County Park declaring it the home of the "woodpecker-riding weasel."

“It has taken something this extraordinary for people to realize just how great Hornchurch County Park and Hornchurch in general is, something we have known for a very long time," Cross states in a press release.

Apparently Cross also plans to petition the the Linnean Society of London to have the species officially recognized.
