The Weather Channel Interactive is suddenly an active name in the Web acquisitions game. Less than two weeks after buying WeatherBonk, the company is announcing the acquisition of two online vacation rental web sites: lakerentals.com and coastrentals.com.
According to the company, these acquisitions will help grow the company’s main online vacation rental web site, forGetaway.com, by helping expand its listing database and driving additional traffic.
