CSI: Miami actor Omar Miller approaches his travel adventures on the Esquire Network's Weekend Fix like he would any other trip -- it starts with apps.

"We wanted to integrate our actual tools that we use for travel into our program to show other people how easy it is enhance their travel experience by discovery and exploration in real-time to guide them," Miller tells Mashable of the show he co-stars in with designer Andres Izquieta. "We are especially proud that we accomplished this goal because there is nothing else on television like it."

In the six-part series, the duo hit a different city every week and use their phones to fill two days of activity and find them a place to stay. Basically, they use their phones as travel agents.

"It just recently became a possibility because technology finally got to the point within the last five years where it can really impact and exponentially multiply the quality of a trip," Miller says of the concept.

In the next episode, Miller and Izquieta hit Brooklyn, New York where they meet up with some of Miller's famous friends -- Psych star Dule Hill and former Family Matters star Jaleel White.
