Certain rules and regulations keep us safe. Laws that require us to wear seat belts or ban us from texting while driving, for example, make total sense.

But other laws are less clear-cut. It's illegal to pretend to have sex in a bar in Oklahoma -- and if you're under the age of 18, don't even think about playing pinball in South Carolina.

States have enacted some very unusual laws across the country, so we recruited an intern to break 12 of them in New York City. (Editor's note: No crawfish were actually stolen in the making of this video.)
