Wesabe Launches Firefox Extension

Wesabe is a company we should all be backing, if only to fix the uselessness of existing bank websites. We only really became interested in the "social finance" site when it released an API, meaning you can make your financial data portable, and export it to any application or service. But Wesabe also lets you aggregate and use your financial info on the Wesabe site, and get recommendations based on what similar users have done (these are just tips - financial data is never shared).

Today Wesabe launched a Firefox extension that helps you to add all this bank data faster: visit your bank accounts online and it will help you grab the required info. It also lets you take screenshots of online receipts and attach them to transactions in your account: see the video below for a demo.
