LONDON -- After what was described as one of the most abhorrent incidents of racism in football last week, fans at another English football club have used comedy as a weapon against racism.

On Tuesday, Feb. 17, fans of Chelsea were caught on camera refusing to let a black man get on a Paris Metro and chanting "We're racist! We're racist! And that's the way we like it! We like it! We like it!" at him.

On Sunday, another English club, West Ham United, were keen to show that not all football fans are like that.

In a parody video, uploaded to Twitter by Aaron Thompson, a black man walks up to a train saying: "This is how we do it in West Ham," before being welcomed aboard by other fans.

Thompson tweeted it with the caption "Claret and blue is all that matters!!," a reference to the club's colours. It has since been retweeted more than 1,600 times.

However, some fans from the same team were accused of anti-Semitism ahead of West Ham's game against Tottenham Hotspur.

Twitter user @romangeezer tweeted that fans were singing an anti-Semitic song on a train as it went through Stamford Hill in London, and posted a video which purported to show the incident. However the video and the twitter account have since been removed.

Separately, the Metropolitan Police in London said they have identified three men as part of an investigation being carried out by French police into the incident that took place last Tuesday.
