WestJet solves the boarding process with self-driving seats

Some pranks should just become reality.

There are plenty of things to gripe about while flying, however it seems as if the process of boarding hundreds of passengers down a skinny aisle will never become convenient.

Thankfully, WestJet has dreamed up Smart Seats to celebrate April Fools' Day, allowing you to comfortably relax in your seat prior to boarding.

O.K. -- so they still have some kinks to work out, but think of the convenience, people.
