Dropping the big question is nerve-wracking enough as it is. But WestJet turned the proposal into pure torture for two lucky guys.

The airline, which is known for its inspiring viral videos as part of its advertising, had a bit more fun for Valentine's Day. WestJet tracked down two men shopping for engagement rings for their girlfriends and offered the two couples free trips to Barbados -- with a catch.

In the video, Ian, a flight attendant, has complete control over the timing of the proposals -- meaning the men were in constant ancitipation of (and anxiety over) the moment throughout their vacations.

The two couples taking the trip together, Mike and Heather and J.P. and Stephanie, enjoy all that Barbados has to offer -- but every time Ian randomly shows up ("Let's go snorkeling!"), the grooms-to-be think that proposal time has come.

Eventually, Ian surprises the men with their engagement rings and the tears start rolling.
