Whaling has even enticed news anchor teams to join in. Much like planking, whaling involves contorting your body into a shape resembling a real-life creature: in this case, nature's largest sea creature. But while planking was mostly confined to photos, whaling lends itself to Vine's short videos rather well.
Even non-humans are getting in on the trend.
