Ever wonder what happens to your luggage after it disappears down the conveyor belt?

Schiphol Airport, in Amsterdam, attached a camera to one of the suitcases making its way through the labyrinthian maze usually hidden from passengers' eyes. The result is a video reminiscent of a rollercoaster ride.

After the suitcase travels through a network of conveyor belts, a robotic arm scoops it up and sends it on its way.

Picking up your stuff from baggage claim is rarely exciting, and sometimes annoying if there's a long wait. But after you watch what your bags had to go through to get to you, maybe you'll have just a bit more appreciation for the technology that keeps millions of people moving through the air every day.
