The breakfast of champions will soon become the alcohol of champions.

The Fulton brewery in Minneapolis will be partnering with the famed General Mills breakfast cereal, Wheaties, to create a craft beer called HefeWheaties.

The beer will be made of malted wheat, malted barley, hops, and yeast. So, it's not likely to taste much like breakfast cereal, but it will taste, um ... wheat-y.

"We were intrigued from the get-go on this idea for many reasons, including that we’re both Minneapolis companies, and that the beer and the cereal both started from the same place in terms of raw ingredients and the same city," said Ryan Petz, the founder of Fulton, in a General Mills press release.

The brew will be available for a purchase in Minnesota starting on August 26, for a limited time only.
