Reece Delashmit, 11, decided to test out his new powered wheelchair by giving his little sister a test ride down the hall, on the way to deliver some clothes to the laundry room.

It's difficult to decide who's enjoying the ride more: Reece or his baby sister.
Reece's parents held off getting their son a powered chair for some time, partially because they "weren't sure if he was ready for it," his dad, Rick, told Mashable. "But honestly, because I'm not sure his mom and I were quite ready for that kind of permanent reminder of his condition."
In May 2008, Reece was involved in a side-impact car accident that left him with a traumatic brain injury. The accident put Reece in the ICU at their local children's hospital for months. After being released from the hospital, Reece couldn't walk, communicate, eat or drink.
After six years of hard work, Reece can now walk with a gait trainer, communicate with a speech device and hand signals, and eat and drink without the help of others.
"At the end of the day, he works his tail off," Rick said. "So we won't stop pushing to assure the fullest recovery we can for him. [He] is an amazing older brother to Harry and Sophia."
