Where I've Been Moves On--From Facebook to MySpace

Where I've Been, which is among the top 30 Facebook applications overall and is the top app for travel, has launched an interactive map widget for MySpace. You may remember Where I've Been as the application that was thought to have been acquired for $3 million.

Following the success of its Facebook Application, you can now place a Where I've Been widget on your MySpace profile as well. This interactive map widget shows, at a glance, all the countries you've visited. You can select what continents, regions and oceans you'd like to be displayed on your map. Site visitors can scroll over your map and see the name of the country/state you've been to, and zoom in and out on the map with a sliding scale.

In all, it's very similar to the interactive map found with its Facebook application. Of course the MySpace widget doesn't have the level of interaction that the Facebook application has, but that's the known advantage of Facebook over MySpace as a platform at this point in time. Looks like Where I've Been will be offering its widget embed code for personal websites and blogs soon.
