Where I've Been, the popular travel widget, already had a big presence on MySpace, but today the service will be launching an integrated application on MySpace, to be found here.

In fact, Where I've Been already had an advanced widget for MySpace that was the company's answer to its already launched Facebook application, but now that MySpace's developer's platform is available for application creators, Where I've Been is able to further integrate its application into the MySpace user accounts. Where I've Been personalized maps can be shared with friends, and can also be used to search for trip deals, including a fight finder powered by Orbitz.

Having survived the days when MySpace often looked down on widget creators, Where I've Been is surely happy to see that a year's change has provided a far more supportive framework for the developer community, including an open platform approach provided by MySpace and just about every other social network out there, large and small.
