Women who work within the field of technology can be sources of inspiration to young people around the world. That's one fact that CodeGirl, a documentary about high school girls journeying through an international coding and entrepreneurship competition and 2016's first MashFlix pick, clearly demonstrates.

Though many of us are familiar with all-star names like Sheryl Sandberg or Marissa Mayer, we'd love to hear about the women in tech who have inspired you.

Was it a computer science professor that taught you your math requirement might be more of a career? Or maybe it was a woman from history that inspired you to push the limits of your own field. Whoever it was and however they came to you, we, and the makers of CodeGirl, want to know.

Just use the hashtag #MyCodeGirl on Twitter to share your inspiration. We'll pull some of favorites into the Q&A session at the MashFlix screening on Wednesday, Jan. 27 at Mashable's Los Angeles HQ. You can RSVP if you're in the area, but if you can't make it, you can watch CodeGirl on Mashable's Apple TV app, or right here on our site.
