Last week Vine made its debut in the political world with the fist 6-second animated attack ad. Today, the White House joins the Vine bandwagon, publishing its first Vine through its official Twitter account.

The Vine was posted to announce the annual White House Science Fair, an event at which President Barack Obama invites students from around the country to demonstrate their accomplishments in science, technology, engineering and math -- and where the president can also have fun firing a marshmallow air cannon.
