On Dec. 24, 1975, Queen performed at London’s Hammersmith Odeon for a show that would be transmitted live on BBC TV and radio. Now, 40 years later, the concert is being released for fans in Queen - A Night At The Odeon - Hammersmith 1975, which follows Inside The Rhapsody in celebrating the 40th anniversary of Queen's pièce de résistance, "Bohemian Rhapsody."

Queen guitarist Brian May said the concert was “very special because it was the first time we ever played a whole show completely live on TV … the Christmas Show. The quality, after great rescue work and transfer into the digital domain, is amazing. And the energy we had comes across very forcefully.”

Ahead of the concert's full release, Mashable debuts Queen's stellar performance of "White Queen."
