If you watched Marie Antoinette and found yourself pining over the pastel dresses, flashy jewelry and, most importantly, big hair, this site is the time-waster of your dreams.

London's Victoria and Albert Museum launched the V&A Wig Designer, which lets visitors play 18th century hair stylist and create their own elaborate hairdos.

It's an interactive way to learn about history. As you design your 'do, the museum teaches you how stylists achieved these embellished hairstyles. For instance, they kept these massive art pieces of hair in place using a gooey paste made of pig fat. Wonder if they sell that hair gel at Whole Foods...

Here's how I spent my afternoon. Design your own and tweet it to @mashable.
