Wikipedia's Most Controversial Topics and Other News You Need to Know

Welcome to this morning's edition of "First To Know," a series in which we keep you in the know on what's happening in the digital world.

Today, we're looking at three particularly interesting stories. Scientists decided to analyze Wikipedia to determine the most hotly contested and controversial topics. Google made a whopping $14 billion in revenue — 19% more than Q2 of 2012. The company earned $3.23 billion in profit. And lastly, Netflix is looking to migrate from Microsoft’s Silverlight plugin in favor of using HTML5 to stream content directly in the browser.
