Artist Captures Wild Animals in Living Room Safari

Looks like cats and dogs have some competition for best domestic animal.

In an attempt to spruce up his daughter's room, photographer Jeff Friesen created colorful wildlife prints that took animals out of their natural habitat, and placed them comfortably in human home and work environments.

"The inspiration for the series was simply [from] watching my daughter mixing different genres of toys together when she played with them," Friesen told Mashable. "I had always been a big fan of diorama photography, and thought that my daughter's toys provided some good materials to try my own hand at dioramas."

Included are ducks taking a bubble bath, dinosaurs watering their plants and grizzly bears successfully running a neighborhood tea shop. A gorilla also checks Google Maps for the nearest fruit stores available to get his banana fix.
