Balls of glory? Not so much.

On Wednesday night, Will Ferrell crashed the Pelicans-Lakers game to shoot a scene for his upcoming film Daddy's Girl. Ferrell made a running start to take a shot from half court, and instead chucked a ball directly into a cheerleader's face.

Don't worry -- the stunt was staged. Watch the ball carefully after it collides with the girl's face; it hardly bounces at all, meaning it's probably made of some kind of foam rubber.

Later on, Ferrell was ceremoniously ejected from the game, carried off the court by four seriously large Lakers security guards.
