LOS ANGELES -- Will the Fresh Prince reign again? Possibly.
According to TVLine, Will Smith's Overbook Entertainment is in the super-duper early stages of cooking up a possible present-day take on 90s cult hit The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

The goal, said the site, would be to put a "fresh spin" on the story, which originally saw Smith's "west Philadelphia born and raised" character suddenly living in the affluent Los Angeles neighborhood with his extended family.
Smith would reportedly would serve as an EP alongside others, including wife Jada Pinkett-Smith.
The project was seemingly news to NBC president Robert Greenblatt when it was brought up by reporters Thursday at the Television Critics Association press tour. "It's something I'd be happy to talk to Will about, sure," he said.
Fresh Prince aired on NBC from 1990-96, but has lived on -- and seemingly grown its audience -- in the years that followed thanks to multiple syndication deals with networks like TBS and Viacom Media Networks.
