More screenshots of Windows 10 for phones have leaked, giving us a closer look at Microsoft's mobile operating system.
We got a brief look at the platform at Microsoft's Windows event last month. Unlike previous versions of Windows Phone, the latest version is simply being called "Windows 10"; it's a way to highlight a sort of cross-platform unity, showing how someone can seamlessly switch from desktop to tablet to phone on Windows 10.
Of course, that doesn't mean everything looks exactly the same. Windows 10 for mobile is optimized for screens smaller than 8 inches. It's only a matter of time until developers have a technical preview version of Windows 10.
In the latest leak, from Chinese blog ITHome, it seems that Windows 10 will include a native audio recording app.
In addition, new screenshots reveal that the phone's keyboard can apparently be aligned left or right on the phone's screen, which would be ideal for one-handed use.

Several other screenshots for the technical preview also show a three-row-high notification center and the settings panel. One image displays a screen that pops up on phones after they update to Windows 10.

After the phone updates, it displays a quote from Russell Wilson: "Every setback has a major comeback." Wilson is the quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks, who recently lost the Super Bowl to the New England Patriots. The analogy Microsoft is going for here is clear: It's time for a Windows comeback.
