Wired is working with Adobe to bring the print magazine to life via an iPad application. What's especially interesting about the app is that while Flash -- Adobe's blacklisted technology -- doesn't get a plug, Adobe AIR does. AIR is apparently the technology behind the iPad application's rich-text, imagery, animation and interactivity functionality.

Several things about the app caught our eye and piqued our curiosity in this video demonstration, but we're especially excited to see the application support 360s (the ability to turn a product around and look at all sides of it), navigation via natural hand gestures, a dual axis navigation system, a scrubber to browse through the issue, article clippings, a favorite bin and Twitter/Facebook integration. Wired is also treating advertising in much the same way as its is the editorial content, which means you can expect an alluring ad experience as well.
