Kiosks Let You Charge Your Device Wirelessly in Public

If Jeffrey Maganis has his way, you will find charging stations as often as you find ATMs. His company ChargeAll has built kiosks with bins that hold mobile devices and charge them, without requiring cords.

ChargeAll envisions its mobile charging stations in 7Elevens, fast-food restaurants, and shopping malls and imagines business-savvy companies offering free charging if the user takes a survey or buys something at the store.

The company is hoping that this incentive toward public mobile charging will work. Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz also announced free wireless charging stations in select stores in Boston and Silicon Valley.
